Photos from WFPF at Camp Woodward's Woodward West's Winter Camp!

WFPF's Daniel Arroyo and Robbie Corbett just hosted the WFPF Parkour Sessions at Camp Woodward's "Woodward West" in Southern California and their winter camp over the winter break! Not only did we have a great group of young people who signed up for the Parkour program, but we had 30 or more from other programs stop by because they wanted to learn the fundamentals of Parkour! It was a great experience for all and we look forward to future programs with Camp Woodward. This is our second workshop with Camp Woodward with our first one being held at Camp Woodward in Pennsylvania and led by WFPF's Pip Andersen, Phil Doyle, and Ben Jenkin.

See photos of some of the students here and also the Target Award Winners from Parkour Camp which were awarded to Jake Sheridan and Kim Palmer!

WFPF Tagwhat Mobile App!

WFPF Tagwhat Mobile App!

"As you may have read, our brand new WFPF Tagwhat Map App is currently in BETA and we're looking to our friends in the WFPF community to help us test it out! So, as a little thank you to all our early-adopters, we're launching a week-long promotion that will reward your awesome tags with some equally awesome prizes! Read below for more info about the WFPF Map App, and our new promo [what new promo?]:

Tagwhat for WFPF tells great stories about the training spots around you. It's a world of originally produced and curated videos, photos and audio set against the backdrop of your real life! Log onto Tagwhat on your computer and tag your favorite parkour training locations. Then when you travel, you can find the great spots other freerunners have tagged AROUND THE WORLD by viewing the Map App on WFPF.com, or by downloading Tagwhat to your iPhone or Android and tuning into the WFPF Parkour Channel!

Getting Started:

In these beginning stages, you can ONLY tag from your home computer, (though tagged training spots in your vicinity will already be viewable from your mobile phone once you download the app). Go to www.tagwhat.com and click on the yellow bar that says "add your content to Tagwhat." It will ask you to log in or create a user name and profile. Once you're in, click on the yellow tab on the upper right of the map that says, "create tag." FIVE BOXES down, there's a drop-down that lets you pick a channel. Select "WFPF Parkour," fill in all the other boxes, submit media (photos or video), title, description, keywords, etc. Finally, just above the map it says, "Tag Location." Click on that and type in an address or click the map to locate the spot you want to tag! Click submit, and your favorite parkour location will be available for all to see! For a sample of already-submitted WFPF parkour tags, check out the map!

The Promotion:

Beginning today, we'll be selecting one exceptional tag EACH DAY for SEVEN DAYS, and awarding that user with a WFPF backpack and KO beanie of his or her choice! Just make sure to follow the above instructions, and make sure your tag includes a title, description of the spot and an awesome photo or video of you and/or your friends on location!

Thanks to all and good luck! Don't forget to download Tagwhat to your iPhone or Android and stay tuned for more WFPF Map App news and activities after our official launch!
