From the fiery state of Arizona comes a man born to go fast. Even at an early age, Kristoffer Smith was already ripping around either in the back of a Humvee or on the local BMX tracks. When he was not fighting for the lead or being tossed around in the desert, he spent his time learning how to build robots and designing virtual worlds.

As Kristoffer grew old enough to venture out on his own, he began to find faster and more efficient ways of getting through environments. The challenge to push the limits was even stronger as he climbed to new heights in search of his potential. After receiving a mountain bike for his 10 birthday Kris was driven to not only be the fastest on foot, but the fastest on two wheels. Five years later after breaking every part possible on a variety of bikes, Kris went back to the idea of using only his body to be the fastest. As Kris entered high school he found lots of different kinds of people. One group gave his speedy movement a name. They called it PARKOUR and told him that there were other people just like him that trained to be the best they can be. With this new found knowledge, Kris sought out these individuals to learn how he could become even faster. Years after, any free time was spent training and honing new skills that not only made Kris faster but gave him a new form of self expression.

After many years of hard work and dedication to parkour, Kris had a dream to open Arizona’s first parkour gym to teach anyone with an open mind how to fully use the body given to them. Eventually Kristoffer was introduced to a gymnastics gym in Scottsdale. Fast forward many years and now we come to the present state of things, Kristoffer Smith is now Assistant Director of Scottsdale Parkour & Freerunning, the leaders in the Parkour community in Arizona. Kristoffer has achieved a level of elite and he is performing in shows on a monthly basis, one of the most notable being Couture and Culture Phoenix, a fashion show featuring work from international designer John Ablaza.
